It is easy to install memory in your laptop. However, it is worth noting that some laptops may not have access to the memory modules, through which you can install memory. This group of laptops requires the handling of a specialist laptop technician. Trying to install it blindly may damage the computer. If you can access your laptop’s module, the procedure is pretty simple. Ensure that the power is off and unplug all the power cables.
The memory modules panel is usually located at the bottom side of the laptop. If you can’t see it, refer to the manual. Unscrew the panel and remove it. Holding the memory gently, align it with the memory slot and carefully insert into the slot. All the pins should fit perfectly. Rotate the module until the clamps lock it in place. Put the access panel back to its place and screw it in as it was. Your memory is now intact. You can then replace the power cables and turn on power. You may need to go to the BIOS so that the system can detect the new Laptop memory. Check with your manual for any additional steps you may need to take as the procedure may differ in different laptops.
